Biographie
FOꓘKOP.EЯA (finalist Concours Circuit 2023!)
Brussels based alt. rap live band powered by baroque mindf***s, radioactive (KORGMS20) synths and mean drumstick spanking (+ VJ'ing).
Influenced by boombap, electronic music, punk, soul and jazzrock, yet very idiosyncratic.
'FOꓘKOP.EЯA' refers to an Era ruled by Fokkops / Imposters.
Artist-in-residence twice at Vaartkapoen (VK Brussels), the band performed its 1st showcase for the Venues from the Future event, played at LES NUITS 2021 (Botanique, Brussels) before AUSGANG (Casey), opened for CLIPPING. at M4, for Ultra Light Blazer at L'Entrepôt Arlon, presented a 1st EP "SPITCOINS" (10.02.23) at Vaartkapoen and is finetuning a brand new 12" / 6-track.
Currently looking for release partners (label, agent, mgmt, ...)
